Hello gcaweb and welcome to the forums.

You probably can't do anything on your own, since your web host, not you, has admin level access to the server and is adding that code to your page. It may also be a condition of your hosting agreement that you DON'T do anything to obstruct the ads, either, so your best bet is to find a new host if you don't want to serve up the ads on your website.

I see this question regularly on the boards of a hosting service that provides "free" (ie with advertising) hosting. The answer is simple - pay for the upgrade.

As Piatkow said, the best way to eliminate web hosting generated ads is to switch to a web host/package that doesn't put ads on web pages (e.g. pay for decent web hosting).

If you want free web hosting, the company providing you with space/bandwidth for your website needs to generate revenue to pay for the resources consumed by your website some how or another. You can pay your own way or let them put ads on your pages.
