Hello,
I am trying to make yahoo my default email but I tried everything and still opens Outlook Express. Few things I've done:
-I installed Yahoo Toolbar and Yahoo Messenger.
-I went to control panel -> Internet Options -> Programs and Yahoo doesn't show up in the Email drop down.
-I restarted the computer.

At this point, I really don't care making my IE my default browser, I just want to be able to click on an email link and make my yahoo email to open.

Thank you guys

Yahoo is a webmail only system, is it not? That is, there is no Yahoo client program that you can access your email from, instead you have to open a web browser and point to the Yahoo site. mailto: links will never work the way you're asking (unless, maybe, someone develops a browser plugin for it). Your default email program is a locally installed program. You can't specify that it's some web based application.

There's a downloadable program called Affixa which offers this functionality, however I've not tried it so this is not a personal recommendation. :)
