IE8 Menu Bar - can't increase text size

I've just installed IE8, and although it makes a big deal about how easy it is to increase the text and image size of a web page, the browser text itself is very small. The menu bar: ie File, Edit, View, Favorites etc has text that is so small I know that some of my clients will have problems seeing it.

Does anyone know of a way to increase the menu bar text size, and the text of the browser features overall, rather than the webpage?

I haven't looked into this, but you may have to do this at the system level through the control panel if IE8 is lacking in controls for this. There is a setting under Tools->Toolbars->Customize in the IE8 Toolbar (in the IE8 toolbar next to "Page, Safety", etc. - not in the IE8 Menu bar). But this affects only toolbar buttons and may not do everything you want.

If you end up having to search some more, what you're trying to do here is to "increase font size in IE8 chrome" -- "chrome" being the term to specify all of the browser menus and toolbars as opposed to the window in which Web sites are viewed. Unfortunately, with Google having named their browser Chrome as well, your search results may be a bit muddled.
