Hi. I've been experimenting with the html5 features implemented in Firefox and Internet Explorer. The only animation/video platform I use is flash, but I would prefer to use the new video and audio tags seeing as it's simpler and seems (to me) likely to be far more future proof than <object> or <embed>.

Has anyone had any success converting a fla into a <video> suitable format?

Thoughts on other parts of html 5 that have been implemented?

My understanding is that the debate about which codec (Ogg Theora or H.264) the tag should support has stalled, though some browser makers say they will support both codecs regardless.

One browser maker based in Redmond is apparently not implementing the tag at all.

You are probably better off sticking with Flash for now.
