Hi, my homepage has recently dropped in Google.. and co-incidentally at the same time.. the cache of the homepage for various search terms shows an error and doesn't display the webpage at all. .. and starts with the odd code of PE8ohXoAcPcJ and then the website url.. has anyone any ideas about why this happens?

ps.. None of the other website pages has been affected and the cache is showing fine.

This doesn't sound like an html or browser problem to me. If you can access the page through a browser, then you are OK.

I wonder if this is connected to the 'http error' that is being seen in webmaster tools for some sites?
