Is there a way to do this? I still cant understand why running IE6 on Vista requires me to download 600MB from microsoft website. I really need IE6 running I got a problem with my template rendering in IE6 and my customer is complaning about this issue, but theres no way I can fix it if I cant install IE6 on my computer. I even thought about just install XP in one of the partitions but there has to be a "less retarded" way to run software from microsoft in microsoft's OS.

Thanks in advance

The Microsoft solution to running IE6 and IE7 on one computer [webmasterworld.com] is quite good. A virtual PC is a great sandbox for testing.

If you don't like the MS solution you could try other virtualization packages like VMware.

Your other option would be to leave an old PC/laptop with IE6 for testing.
