Hello.

Ivan here, Toronto.

I am not much of a coder or developer, so please exuse up front for stating some thing plain wrong.

Not of a fan of IE and rely on firefox 100% of time. Designing some pages right now and finding that IE 7 has an immensely destroying and annoying feature of blocking "active X controls" on all pages.

Have a little flash would like visitors to see, but since majority of internet population are not savvy they might choose not to enable those Active X controls.

The question is - is that message default in IE7 for all users?

So far i place a little notification near flash: "Please enable Active X in your browser to see Flash presentation below." in hopes they will.

Would appreciate you answer!

You only see that pervasive message when you try to run the page locally, not from the server. This is one of IE's little aggravations, but it only affects you while developing locally if you do not use a local server environment.
