Hi everybody,

I am using Microsoft FrontPage 2003 Professional as my default web authoring software, regarding which i have few questions.

1. When i update any page of my website, the web users still looks at the older page until they press CTRL+F5. Is there anyway that the users automatically veiw the updated page?

2. If Possible, how to get my website in the list of google search engine and as much on the top as possible through Meta Tags?

Regards,

Marcia

That doesn't mean you're limited to not using FTP to upload new pages.

That's a server and a caching issue. Is it all users, or just you when you look at update pages, which may be cached in your browser.

It's not even remotely possible to rank well through using meta tags. Maybe it was back in 1998 or so, but hasn't been for a long time. It takes relevant, optimized content, proper semantic markup, inbound links and a well-thought-out internal linking structure.

There's some good discussion in this thread, from the HTML Forum Library [webmasterworld.com].

Meta tags and more - from <head> to </head> [webmasterworld.com]
