My internet connection is perfect.
I can view any website i want to, but my own.
My website is still there because AOL and the hosting Company can both see it, as can my friends and family.

My website has been running fine for a long time and I have always been able to view it on my computer.

Now when I use both computers in our house I cannot.
I can see it when I go through a proxybrowser site though so i know it is there.
I have also connected to next doors wireless and can view it through them so i know the problem lies with aol.

When i type my domain in i get redirected to google, where my site is top of the search list, then i click on it and i get a "cannot display this page" message.

I have reset the router, contacted aol and my host and they both say things are fine and that they cannot help me.

But things arent fine because I can not view my website and i need it to make a living. I have had customers ring up to say they cannot view it but I am unsure if their isp is aol also.

Has anybody ever experienced this problem or know what i can do?
It has now been three days since I could view my site.

Has AOL blocked my site? If so how can I unblock it? I have tried contacting there customer service but they are no help.

Can somebody please offer any advice?

Try using the Firefox browser and installing the LiveHTTP headers add-on. This will give you a step by step look at the requests and replies between your browser any servers involved. That might give you more technical information about where the problem is happening.

Have you checked for malware on your computer?

I have tried firefox and it still will not work.

What is malware?

The problem is happening on two different computers on the same wireless network, as soon as i log onto my next door neighbors network i can see it fine.

My internet connection is 100% and i can view any other site, i can even see it in google, i just cant get to it.

Malware is any program designed to infiltrate or damage your computer system that was installed without your informed consent. Sometimes malware installs "piggyback" with a free download, and sometimes it can sneak in just by visiting a malicious web page. There are both free and paid programs available to check your computer and help you remove malware they find. Just do a Google search.

I didn't mean just to use firefox as a different browser, but also to use the LiveHTTPheaders add-on. Tha may help you to pin down what is happening - what servers are involved when you have this problem.

You said in your first message that "I have...contacted aol and my host and they both say things are fine and that they cannot help me." This makes me suspect that the problem is with your computers, but checking the requests and responses going back and forth from your browser will help to be sure of what's happening.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Davidhi11. One thing to try is to check your computer's "hosts" file. On Windows XP it is in:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

Open it up with Notepad, you should have an entry like this:

127.0.0.1 localhost

But there should be no other entries.

Second thing to check is if you have any adblocking programs, such as Norton Internet Security. Check to see whether your site is blocked there.

Same wireless network?

Sounds like your router could have blocked you out.
You might want to login to your wireless network router and look at what it's been denying lately.

I'll about lay odds that your website url is in the list of url's it's blocked.
