I've certainly had this problem in the past, but I've just been trying to recreate the problem (in Hotmail / Yahoo) with an exceedingly long URL, and I can't!? It works every time - dang!

What you're asking is for CR/LF characters to appear on screen (in the email), but to be 'invisible' when a user copy 'n' pastes - kind of like a soft-hyphen-ish? Hhhmmmm, is there a magic character that can do this?!

Alternatively, you could just make the big URL much smaller and send a TinyURL(.com) ...?
