This is a general question about Yahoo Stores environment RMTL. I’m indexed in all the major search engines, and seem to be doing well. But does anyone know of any tips/tricks/warnings for the RMTL environment that will help me along the way?

Ok posting something at the end of the day, may not have been the best idea... Let's try again today.

Are there any particular areas where you notice a challenge?

And, as a suggestion, perhaps you'd like to start the ball rolling with a tip you've already picked up. It always helps loosen tongues when people can see that help will flow both ways.

2 specific questions I have are...

1. Will Google have any problems with RTML (in particular any cloaking)?
2. Is there an easy way to change the meta description tag for a page in the store?

All RTML templates output standard HTML. As such, anything you learn here at WebmasterWorld can be applied to a Yahoo! Store.

As to your questions:

1) I am not sure exactly what you mean. How does cloaking come into play at all?

2) If you know how to use RTML, you can make a custom variable on all of your pages that can populate your META description. Otherwise, you can also override the head-tags variable on any page that you want to add META tags to.
