IE 6 does not display properly box drawing symbols for monospace fonts, for ex <span style='font:normal normal normal 8pt Courier New '>─</span> The width of symbol is more than it should be.
The only solution I see is to select Courier New as browser web page font and to set on "Ignore font styles specified on Web pages". May be someone knows better solution ?

What are you using the box drawing symbols for that the width of the font matters? Just curious.
