Hi, I like Internet Works just to read on new technologies, usefull info and the website makeovers, freebies on the CD etc.

Are there any other Web magazine that people find usefull, or are there any free net magazines out there to subscribe to?

I used to really like Internet Business, but I haven't seen it in the shops of late (in Cork, Ireland). Anyone know if it's still being published? The website [ibmag.co.uk] has closed down.

I am yet to find an internet magazine that I am really happy with. In my last workplace I was subscribed to Internet Works, .Net, Internet Business, and .IE (an Irish internet mag).

Now I just read WebmasterWorld!:)

I really like Direct - it's a (free) trade magazine for the Direct Marketing industry.

It comes from a direct mail/telemarketing heritage, but their coverage of web marketing is getting very strong. And when they cover an online area, they give solid information with accurate stats (a hallmark of the DM industry.)

I love PC Magazine - it seems like any little bizarre problem I have, they'll be posting a solution in one of the sidebars. I think they're wired into my head.

I used to love Business 2.0 before the AOL conglomerate bought it up and merged it with eCompany Now or whatever their previous magazine was called. I still read Business 2.0, but it's about a 3 on my must-read meter now; used to be about a 9.

Anyone know whatever happened to the old staff of Business 2.0? I hope they launch another magazine with similar focus and style.

Also used to read Internet World, but they've moved toward the tech side of things now more than the business/creative.

And I guiltily (is that a word?) admit that I recently picked up an issue of Yahoo! Internet Life and liked it enough to subscribe. :) Not at all a "webmaster's magazine" in the truest sense, but I've found some fun and interesting web sites from it that I'd never have found otherwise so it's worth the small price.

I read PC Magazine, PC World, and Smart Business, all ZDNet properties. Occasionally they have great articles, usually a worthwhile skim and at worst unintentionally hilarious because of how often they get things wrong (Like giving Enron First Prize for the most savvy business).

I get a kick out of the chubby columnist with the bulldog face because he's always spewing the latest alphabet soup jargon B2B to JcdX1 etc. Although I never heard him mention the latest trend with twenty something dot-commers: B2M (Back to Mom!)

On the serious side, I do suscribe to the above mags, and also read Communication Arts, HOW, and on occasion Create Online.

Oh, and I also suscribe to Stereophile (Hey, the man can't bust my dreams).
