This may be slightly offtopic, but it does deal with browsers.

Anyone have any recommendations for a proxy cacher that sets inbetween the browser and the net and caches docs? I've used a couple and haven't found anything worth keeping.

I ended up settling on the free winders program, Proxomitron: (homepage [proxomitron.cjb.net]). It is a proxy server/web filter with all bells and whistles. From my Opera mind mindset, it almost makes IE and Netscape usable.

Features:
Freeware.
Small, fast, and disk footprint lite.
Filters both inbound server http headers, and output browser fields.
Filters all page content that you want. (filter out css, javascript, files...anything).
HTTP log. Watch both outbound requests by your browser, and inbound headers from the server. (this is excellent).
