IE6 Download

OK dumb question, but I am entitled to my fair share :)

If I download and install IE6, will it overwrite IE5? Just want to have both on my machine for testing purposes.

yes, as far as i know you can only have one version of ie.

<added>i use different cpu's for different ie versions

IE6 will display very similar to IE5.5 when there is either no doctype present or a non-standards inducing doctype which then allows IE6 to run in quirks mode.

I have only witnessed one occasion where there was a difference between IE6 in quirk mode (simulating IE5.5) and the rendering by an actual version of IE5.5.
