I have a requirement from my client to make every page on his site "searchable". My first thought was to create an ASP content management system. That's one way to do it... Another way would be to go with some of these search engine providers, like Freefind. There are others, but I've never used any. Could anybody recommend a good search engine service that would index the content of your website and provide search engine capability?

Thanks!

OR... it might be better just to purchase search engine software. I'm not familiar with any packages, but I know they exist. This website is hosted on a Win2K box.

No specific recommendations, but if you haven't already seen our earlier thread about site search, you may find it valuable. I'm still wrestling with this one!

I have been using www.sitelevel.com . Free for three sponsor listings at the top or $5.00 US monlthly for no sponsor listings. Gives you all sorts of management tools and lets you use any design for the SERPs.
