Transparency in Fireworks help

Hi
I have a graded graphic of a ball with different subjects on it. I would like to create a rollover that displays the subject as a larger graphic. The problem i'm having is with the second image's transparency - It isn't transparent on the rollover. The ball has a gradient, hence my desire for a transparency. Can anyone help, please ? :-)

From the details you've posted, it's hard to tell if this is a browser/code problem or a graphics creation problem. Since you chose the Browser's/HTML Forum and not the Graphics Forum, I assume that you suspect the code.

Would you share a bit more detail on this?

Hi,
I've decided to give up and go about it in a different way. I am now going to use flash which gets round the transparency problem. I should have posted this in the graphics forum. Many apologies. Still finding my way round the forums!!
