Has anyone experienced any back button issues with Netscape 6.2? For example, after logging into a secure site and drilling further into that site, then the user clicks the BACK button until it brings he/she again to the login page?

Typically one would expect the browser to prevent the BACK button from displaying the login page.
Thanks,
Mandy

Welcome to Webmaster World, Mandy.

Netscape 6.2 offers an alert box when you click "Back" before secure pages - but you have the option to turn off those warnings. This is pretty similar to what I see in IE and Opera.

Am I missing something here?

Why?

Using Netscape 4.7: after logging into a secure site, the back button does not bring me back to the login page. However, testing with Netscape 6.2 the BACK button brings the user back to the login page. The reason for concern is security.

Are you saying that when it brings you back to the login page that the user name and password fields are still filled in?
