something that wont allow the user to highlight text/images on a webpage at all or parts of it seems to be unheard of.
can any1 help with this please??
Assuming that by 'highlight' you're referring to dragging the mouse over screen objects to select them (like you'd select a chunk of text in a word processor).
I've never heard of a way of turning this off... but then I've never really heard of a reason why somebody would want to? Why do you need to do this - perhaps we can help there?
Is this some attempt to make your site harder to copyright infringe? If so, give up now :-)
i was working on this drag + drop game. essentially dragging <div>s to various drop targets. but when u drag em because it's just like ur highlighting text/images you cant event handle as the browser thinks youre trying to highlight...blah blah
its ok though i've solved it by making it full screen. thanx 4 the help!
