How to make a discussion form?

What do you think about Front Page 2000...

I am thinking of designing a web site that will discuss and hold comments online about 3-4 products. I want to keep it open so that visitors can publish online in real time.

The problem is I have limited web desiging skills. I see a Discussion Form in Front Page 2000. But that gives me some basic stuff. I wonder if anyone have used it to design some great discussion forms? If there is some other tool\scripts to create discussion form, please let me know.

I did a Discus forum on a recent site. I started off with the free version, but upgraded to paid to get e-mail notification and better profile management. The free version was very functional, though.

If it's not for interactive discussion, but only for having comments posted about products, there are some scripts that are simpler and more compact than forums, some of which automatically post the comment, and some of which can be pre-screened, as some forum software can do, which could be handy if there might be promotional posts or posts including URLs which would be objectionable.
There's a good selection at hotscripts.com and at cgi-resources.com

There's also ikonboard for forums, which is free and a piece of cake to install.
