downloading free upgrade

When I try and download the free upgrade 7.01. I keep getting a message saying it cannot find 7.0
I reinstalled 7.0 and still get the message.

It would help if you actually mentioned what software you are trying to upgrade. But guessing from the version numbers and what has happened to you, I would say that it is Photoshop.

With the 7.01 upgrade Adobe designed it so that it would not upgrade Photoshop that is installed with a pirated serial number.

If you have actually purchased the software then I suggest you get in contact with Adobe or with the shop you have purchased it from.
