"preview" and exporting issues with Fireworks

HI,

I am trying to preview and export a fireworks file that I have been using. All of a sudden, I am getting an error message that slice001.gif exits, ok and continue. I select yes, but no files are exported or shown. The kicker is there is no slice001.gif on the pc.

Any thoughts?

Are you using Fireworks 4 by any chance?

I have the smae error - it is a bug and seems only to occur when using the add 'simple rollover' commands on groups of slices. Well, it only happens to me then.

I select the erroneous slice independatly of the rest and add behaviour from the pannel rather that right clicking. I don't have a fix but next time it occurs I will see if I can work out why.

Actually it might have something to do with your export options. In the 'document specific' tab - try setting the file names differently.

I will play around with the settings. Seems like a pain in the a55 though. Let me know if yours works

I just got Fireworks mx2004 and seem to have the same issues. And get this, with more then just one image. Anyone know of a patch or a way to resolve this?
