Does anyone have .asp sites which are performing well and did they take any additional measures?

From my brief glance of exisiting questions on this subject, it was recommended that building a site without parameters would be beneficial...but that entry was back in 2001. Do google spiders now recognize asp sites?

I've got 3 sites running a combined total of 3000 product pages and some 300 range pages, and every page has been indexed by google.

All sites have been written in ASP. The only thing I can say is I've avoided using the querystring?id=, but I have other querystring variables. Google picked them up over a year ago, and hasn't grumbled once.

thanks jpjones. So applying seo techniques for html are the same for asp? Do you use class files? to further optimize the layout of the site?

I'm a newbie to asp but could you make pages look better to search engine spiders? Or do search engines have a way of combating that type of trickery?
