Why doesn't my site doesn't show up in directory

I have had a site in the Dmoz.org directory for some time.
Doesn't the Google Directory use Dmoz.org?
How come my site doesn't show up when i go to the google homepage and search directories? Yet I go into Dmoz.org, and search and find my domain? Yet I am still able to find my website with a regular google search, simply not in the google "Directory".

Any answers?

Yes, the google directory uses dmoz. However, dmoz was not able to provide a "dump" of their data for a period of about 5 months due to technical difficulties. A week or two ago, they were finally able to produce a dump - and I think a couple more since then.

So, since google didn't have the dmoz dump, your site doesn't show in the google directory. No one is sure if google got the dump in time to incorporate it into this next update. So you may not see your site in the google directory until the update that happens around the end of March.

Thanks a lot for that information. I hope to heck all my sites suddenly appear! That would be great!
