Google visits old server

I changed servers about two weeks ago. Googlebot is still hitting the old server. When will Googlebot vist my new server? I think it has something to do with DNS.

Google caches DNS, and it can sometimes take a month before they catch on. Keep an up-to-date copy of your site (or at least the important pages) on the old server until you see the 'bot pick up your new IP address.

Better yet, keep it on the old server till it stops visiting the old site. I am not certain about this but it sounds like they might be keeping 2 caches, one for the main crawl and one for freshbot.
