Hello all,

I've had a strange (I think) occurrance for the last 4 weeks or so.

Up until about a month ago, my PR6 site (ranked in the top 5 for the last year) received a freshbot visit with the corresponding updated "freshness" tag along wit most of the other sites in the top 10 results.

However, for the last 4 weeks, although both freshbot and deep crawl continue to visit my site (including over 100 visits by freshbot so far today), I haven't received a "freshness" tag, although most of the sites around me have.

I've even made several changes to the front page to try to entice freshbot to give me a fresh tag (and updated listing), but he coninues to show the cache from the last update.

Any ideas?

The latest cache doesn't always show up when you click on "cache", also this has happend to sites of mine before, nothing to get worried about.
And i would advise not to update your homepage only due to Freshbot, User first, search engine second ;)
