I have noticed a competitor using targeted keywords in the classification meta tag, can this improve ranking?
Thanks

Hm, I highly doubt they are using it -> isn't that one part of the 'dublin core meta' or something?

Or if Google *is* using it, how much weight do you think they would assign a meta tag that less than 1% of all web sites use...?

Probably close to 0% if any. Either way, it might be best to work on something more 'commonly accepted' to be part of the 100 variables...
