When does Google update?

Does anyone know around what day of the month google updates its index. My site has been visited a couple of times over the past month but I have yet to see these listings posted.

Maybe I'm just being impatient but I was wondering if anyone knew what day - like the 27th? I'm fairly confident my pages will be listed - that's not the issue - when are the googlebot updates seen?

No one except Google know exact, and they probably don't know today which date they will update, it deppends on a lot of factors.

They continually add sites to their index over the course of the month, and then at the end of the month ( usually ) they update the entire index...however, there is no 'set date' at which they start the update.

The last few have been 1) day before the superbowl in the US 2) new years eve 3) and day before thanksgiving.

See a trend? What's the next 'event' that they can do the update just before...

Not a statistically valid sample but February has been earlier.

Though I don't think I'm quite ready to start holding my breath.
