Does google count this type of redirects?

While searching for new sites that accept link submissions I noticed that some would direct my listing to this type of URL [site.com...] .

Of course, when you click the link it takes you to the url linked to. My question is will Google recognize this link and count it as inbound?

Dan, I don't know about the upper or lower case on the ID=, but some people have reported having difficulties getting pages indexed with having id= in the URL.

Hi Dan,

There seems to be mixed opinion on this topic.

People have stated opinions that having the target URL in the query string (as opposed to an ID #) improves the chances of the link being counted.
