Google Alpha Directory?

Hrmm ... I was checking out Alexa, and saw them linking to the google directory, but instead of it being /Top/, it was /alpha/Top/

For example: [directory.google.com...]

The only difference I can see is that it no longer shows the PR next to it. Is this some secret thing, some special arrangment with Alexa, or am I just crazy? ;)

You can view the directory in PageRank or Alphabetical order.

So guess which one alpha stands for? :)
