Question About Google

We have two websites, different URLs, different business names (DBAs), totally distinct in design and content - but both site are selling the same products.

Even though one website is more geared toward high search ranking - the second site is now right there with first site in terms of high rankings with google.

Is this a problem - to have two unique websites getting high ranking on the same terms? Is this an issue where a competitor could lodge a complaint with Google?

Thanks for any feedback - JaneJane

If what you say about unique content is correct how could it be a problem?

Googles a SE, not the monopolies commission ;)

Seriously, I don't think it's worth worrying about, and I'd be very surprised if anyone else thought otherwise.

Congratulations on te success of your sites!
