Hello

Can anyone advise if I were to link from a new domain to another, will the second domain get indexed by google?

It seems like google is ignoring the links that are on the first brand new domain and the deep crawl seems to be reaching the end.

Thanks for any help

kwngian,

The second domain will be indexed only after the one (if the only one) linking to it has been crawled, and even then it may take several updates to appear.

It seems to take a while to remain in the index. I put up part of a new site in January with 3-4 links from other PR4-5 sites. The new site (just the homepage) showed up in the index within about a week and ranked well but had a PR0. It ranked OK for a couple keywords. After about a week is seems to have completely fallen out of the index.

It'll probably show up at the end of Feb or March.

This is exactly what happened to my new site in January. It would show up for awhile with PR0, then disappear. One time it actually showed 26 pages indexted, then none. Now there are about 5 pages indexed again, but it got deep crawled this weekend, so I expect it will show up permanently in March and hopefully with some page rank. It's pretty hard to ask people to link to a PR0 site. :-) Everflux - a very descriptive word for what goes on when freshbot crawls your site.
