I have made changes to two of my sites over the last few days whilst the freshbot was visiting my sites. These changes made no difference to my ranking at all, I know this can be normal but I have done changes over the past three months when freshbot was visiting. My question is can the freshbot changea sites ranking to the same extent as the full refresh can?

Edits to pages that already exist don't seem to have as high an impact on the overall ranking. Sure, they can help if you create a whole new keyword scheme, but if you're using the same keywords, then it's really not going to change that much.

Completely new pages, however, seem to get a "guess" ranking that is quite generous.

Due to the heavy weight Google places on PageRank (Which is calculated and updated in complete in the full update), you can't really do a lot between the updates to get an already existing page to get much higher in the rankings.

speaking of freshbot, has anyone been visited lately? i've noticed the absence of fresh tags all around.
