I just noticed something funny today. This update both [mysite.com...] and [mysite.com...] both have PR6, and both have the exact same backward links.

Is google able to realize now they're the same page and share? Does anyone else still have seperate PR and backlinks for their www and non-www URL's?

I don't think I did anything special to deserve this, I'm glad I do though. :)

Works for me too. Interesting.

I've noticed a few of my competitors are like that as well, but some aren't and I don't see any correlation why.

But anyhow, I'm glad all my inbound links now count for both and I'm not complaining :)

www.domain.com/index.html
www.domain.com
domain.com/index.html
domain.com

All have same PR and linkage for me. I've heard it said this sometimes takes a while with new domains, and even that it never happed for at least one site.

I have one site that shows pr 5 for www.domain and pr white for [domain....] I have another with pr 5 and indentical backlinks for www and http:. The difference between the two sites is that the one with the identical backlinks has one site linking to the http:// version. I'm kind of bummed because I had asked her to change the links and just received an email saying she had done so. I'll try and let you know if it reverts to pr 0 with 0 backlinks as of the next update.

It just occurred to me that Googlebot must be following links and if it follows one to the same content with the same URL minus the www. it must now return it as the same site (at least with the toolbar).
