Pagead URL

Spotted New Google URL in Logs

Hi all,

For the first time I've spotted this referring Google URLs in one of my clients logs:

[pagead.google.com ]

Any idea of what it is? GoogleGuy? I couldn't find any previous discussion about this in the forum.

I have never seen it either, it doesn't seem to be different from the normal google, maybe they withdraw it very quickly, can you describe what you saw?

I think it might have to do with AdWords, after further research it looks like ad referrers.
