Googlebot Crawling dot.htm Not dot.html

logfiles shows vast number of 404's - puzzled?

All pages of the site are dot.html, other than someone designing and linking (possibly using Frontpage which default to .htm) to the wrong page extension -- can anyone think of another reason?

Over 200 404's recorded and Googlebot keeps trying to resolve.

Maybe you should post your message to the other thread, since GG seems to think the problem is solved.

GoogleGuy suggested a fix - and reviewing further in logs noted no further occurence. Thanks again for the thread. :)
