Googlebot has not visited our website

Googlebot has not visited our website for at least three or four weeks. Our mainpage is PR6. I've noticed that other webpages are being updated. Doesn't the google dance also includes a spider visit for all webpages?

Nope. No sign of Googlebot...

It's strange. Two months ago we got a visit every third or fourth day...

Still no visits from Googlebot. It seems as if everyone else has had both deep crawl and the fresh crawl. I've had none of these.

And as I said before, usually I get spidered 2 times every week...

Does anyone have experience from this or is there someone with the same type of problems?

have you checked, double checked and checked with everyone concerned that NO changes have taken place.

Do you mean that this could be a punishment by google?

Our website has ALMOST no changes. However, I've added a FEW (4) keywords at the bottom of the page. The keywords were removed a month ago, but still visible in the cache.

I thought that punishment by google meant getting PR 0. I still have PR 6 (I think [webmasterworld.com]).
