Is there a tool available that allows you to throw a bunch of domains at it and it comes back with their PR?

From what i know there isn't one.
And if it was, it would probably break the GOOGLE TOS on the "Forbidden to do automatic queries" part.

A shame because I'm finding it sooo difficult finding a relevant PR6+ partner to link with - there are none in our ODP category.

Just link with relevant sites. It will help bring people interested in your topic to your site and give you a little PR. And who knows, some may become PR6 sites in the future.

Visitor coming in through links from related sites stay longer on my site than those coming in from search engines. Sometimes a PR 4 or 5 site can be a quality link if it brings in the right visitors.
