Googlebot

I see that google bot was here, but..

I was looking at my logs (I am new at this and so much is very confusing still) And I found this:

64.68.82.14 - - [21/Jan/2003:03:26:23 -0800] "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.0" 200 410 "-" "Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)"

64.68.82.14 - - [21/Jan/2003:03:26:25 -0800] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 21910 "-" "Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)"

This is all I found, googlebot came looked at one page (I think, because all I see is the robots.txt and the http/1.0 which I don't know what that means) and left. this is usually been this way. Why isn't it staying longer and viewing other pages. I am very new at this, I am sure there is an obious answer but I need some help please? Thanks
