I have 2 pages in particular that bring me some visits from 2 word search phrases with 2,500,000 results and 3,500,000 results respectively. I'm ranked 11th and 18th respectively. These are not competitive terms and I ended up with them more by mistake. Not many people search them but I do get quite a few visits. In the last 2 days I have noticed that they have been dissappearing completely from the results ie nowhere in the thousand and then later on they are back. I checked yahoo and aol and they are still there...just not in google. The pages have been indexed a year or so and I have never noticed this before.

Any Ideas?

I believe this is because of Everflux. Search this forum for that phrase, to learn more about it.

"I believe this is because of Everflux."

I read about everflux before but this just doesn't seem the same. I have seen everflux on my other pages but they move maybe 1 or 2 places. These pages are dissappearing maybe for half a day.

Dissapearing completely...ie not in the first thousand but still in the index if I search for them using another phrase very specific they come up.

As hanewich points out, this behaviour is normally Everflux related.

If you are not in this month's full Google index, then you may be included periodically during the month in Everflux listings.

When you are listed, is anything shown for a link: query?

As all the other have said it's probably Everflux, i though it might help with the link though: [webmasterworld.com...]

Also it's very unusual that your site would disappear between updates if it wasn't for the Everflux.

It's not my whole site...just 2 pages and as i said they have been in a year and were updated with the dance 1st January.

I could understand it if they were new pages but they are not. They were indexed like they are every month...regular as clockwork.

I did check .co.uk and .ca earlier and they were there but not on .com?

Now they are back again! I'll keep checking.

Seems very strange to me too!

I think everflux can also be described as the cause of the everflux topic.......it always comes back.

Now that is strange. From the timings it sounds as though it may be Everflux related, but there seem to be quite a few unusual mid-cycle reports this month.
