Site cached by Google, then disappeared + grey bar

new site caches then disappeared

Hi all,

I recently placed a website online (start of December), and after submiting to some directories it was cached several days later even if it did have a PR0.

Then when January rolled in, my site was not indexed any longer and now I get a grey bar :(. I don't know if/what I did wrong - I was hoping it would just come back but it hasn't.

My website cached was at a .com domain, and this was the one indexed. I also have a .com.au domain that is parked at my .com domain so all pages at both domains are identical. The .com.au domain got cached this month (January), and I have a PR0. I'm hoping when next month comes in that this won't disappear either.

Can someone help, or tell me why it is grey? I'm not sure whether I can post the URL to my site, but I am sure one could work it out from my profile ;).

Welcome to the board, Kurieuo.

If the site went up beginning of December, you probably got hit by a "fresh" crawl, and it's actually too early to tell anything. Check this thread on Everflux [webmasterworld.com].

You'll probably see your site show up OK this coming update, if there are some good links to have PR.

Thanks Marcia - I feel a little relieved now. I will even better when I see it back, but I'll just have to wait and see.
