changes in the google results

Did anyone else also notice this?

Search with "widgets" and the result pages are different. I went till the second page and there are some fluctuations and interchange of positions.

The site on 10th rank went to 14th, my site went from 17th to 18th, a site from the fourth page came to 2nd, etc.

Is something happening? Will there be more ups and downs? Is it a common thing during this period of the month?

Please explain.
