uploading pages for googlebot

when is the best time? is it safe to upload pages while hes there?

Hi all. I was just wondering, if googlebot is on my site and I am updating some of my page that are already on the site, will he get kicked out and my site off google til next month? Is there a best tome to update or is it go to do it any time?

I could be wrong, but I think anytime you want to update would be fine.

Least ways I ain't never hurd of any restrictions.

My experience with gbot is that she (pretty sure it's a girl) usually stays around for 3 or more days. And if I update pages while she's hanging around, typically the newest version will make it in. Keep in mind that even if she's crawling all over you today, she may come back a week from now via an inbound link. Also Freshbot crawls seem to be worked into the update so if you change a page even after she's left you for final, if her twin sister comes back later in the month but before the update, the two do seem to talk and maybe the twin's version will trump the deepcrawls.
