I think most of us has notice google SERPs are changed last few days. Since it is not a change due to google dance, I am sure google is tweaking its algo.

I have search term which increase my ranking which is good while having other ranking drop as well. It is funny to note that the new algo now return a lot of low quality links even at the top spot.

The #1 site is actually a redirect to its affiliate advertiser!

#2 and #3 is the advertiser itself. (nothing wrong)

#4 is another redirect to the advertiser!

#5 is a page with nothing but a 5-words text links. When I check this page in the original site, it redirect immeditely but if you click on the link from google, it doesn't perform the redirect.

Another keyword is more insteresting, the #1 result doesn't contain the keyword in the page, not even in the HTML source page!

Google is amazing, aren't they :)

... remember all this searches return 100,000+ results ...

Since the results ain't good at all, I think google will surely 'untweak' their algo. I am not going to report any of them to google as I guess it will waste my time and energy. Just I hope google will be more careful when they tweak their algorithm.

Anyone noticing anything on the algo change that is worth sharing, please post here.

I must of been asleep as I haven't noticed anything aside from the usual additions/moves due to the funky Google Freshbot activities.

Freshbot do play some cards but for my searches, it has nothing to do with freshbot at all.

Sorry James, I haven't noticed the big change either. There are always some phrases that bring up odd or spammy looking results, I don't see how their could be none with a three billion page index.

I haven't noticed any difference in the quality of my searches. But I have seen a 20% jump traffic from google in the last couple of days.

Since the results ain't good at all, I think google will surely 'untweak' their algo.

You really should report his if you want them to notice your particular search. Otherwise they just might be looking at the results that they improved.

Google is tweaking for sure

I have a phrase at number one that keeps on disappearing and reappearing - it has been happening all day.
I might add, when the page disappears, it is gone from the first 5 pages at least. I have a bad feeling about this :(

Pretty sure all of these things have happened every update for at least a few months. Changes as such may not be as common in the SERP's you're looking at but this isn't anything new.

defanjos,

I've had that same experience numerous times over the last few months, but never in a case in which I already had a listing. If the listing is new, check your logs, and I'll bet you can draw a correlation between what you see there and your site reappearing.

looks like they are still the same! Maybe I really need to post it to search quality.
