Here are my theories why:
1. The pigeons are imported from Japan to the USA, but then due to the changes in relative position in the stars and the earth's magnetic field, the pigeons have problems navigating correctly. This causes some results for Japanese language searches to be very strange.
2. Japanese pigeons are normally on rice based diet, but while working in Google USA are feed a grain based diet. Change in diet causes pigeons to bloat and loose concentration, thus causing strange results.
3. Japanese pigeons while working in the USA do not have access to sake drinks after a hard days searching. Pigeons suffer loss of sleep and can no longer concentrate during work.
THE SOLUTION
In Australia pigeons are not native. They just spread mess and disease, hence are often known as "the rats of the sky". Google should replace all pigeons with kangaroos. There are millions of kangaroos so there would be plenty to do the work and they can type with both paws. :)
