As SEO's can we place our parent site <meta name="author" content="Ioptimize, http://www.Ioptimizeblahblah.com/clients.htm">

and then have a list of links to all of our optimized sites or is this a no no?

Is this considered spam by Google?

How about puting the link on the bottom of each site also?

Google won't have a problem with this, BUT, if I were you, I wouldn't do it.

I wouldn't want my competitors, Google, or any search engine to see that declaration of work, or my list of clients.

Hi finditnow,

Welcome to the board!

So as the majority of search engines, Google dont care much about metatags. Whathever is written in those tags is almost a waste of time.

Now your talking!

As a client, I wouldn't want my competitors to know that I am optimizing. And even worse, who is doing the optimizing.

Discretion is an issue when doing optimization work for a company. It's hush-hush.
