white bar of death..or not?

server problem gives white bar

I have a dns on my server and a few sites hosted there. Before christmas I pointed a new site to the server but it was showing the content from another site. Unfortunately my admin died in terrible circumstances and I was unabable to find a new admin until after the update.

Now it is showing the white bar.

1.Would this be because of duplicate content and the domain is dead for ever?

2. the page was indexed by google but there were no back links, therfore it has O PR?

Crush, I'm very sorry to hear about your admin.

If duplicate content is involved, then I'd expect the problem to resolves itself in Google one or two updates after it's no longer duplicated.

Being indexed before you had backlinks is the most likely answer IMO.

I would like to give this page some PR from one of my other sites but am afraid that I may be liking to a site with the death penalty and harm one of my other sites in the process.

No way of knowing I guess?
