I'm sorry if someone already raised this, but I just this morning saw my first fresh 2003 tags in SERPs, jan 4th that is. Anybody?

Yes, i have new fresh tags, too. But new pages since the last dance crawled by freshbot aren't shown in google.

Some of my sites also got the Fresh Tag Jan 04, but I'm wondering they are pages which are not update so frequently like others without fresh tag. Confusing.

I published a new article a few days ago, right at the beginning of the update, and it was in the Google index yesterday. Not bad, especially with Google having been busy with the monthly update.

europeforvisitors, I think I can beat that - added a 'Recently added pages' page on 4th January and it was picked up within hours by the look of it :). Could it be that Google (or freshbot) likes this, and my site map which is another recent addition.

What I still don't get is the random results I am seeing. Some older 'new' pages aren't in the index, maybe because they are in a sub-folder?

Apart from the 2 pages mentioned above, only 3 other pages have fresh tags - all were edited recently from memory.

Can someone point me in the direction of some articles/threads about the fresh bot.

Thanks,

A site search for "freshbot" or "fresh tags" will give you lots of interesting threads to read.

Got a few fresh 6ths but unfortunately not on some of those pages that would be really interesting in this context. I'm hoping for a boost from my new design to a #4 page on one of my main keywords. It seems that the tweaking _does_ help those pages with the new fresh tags. Guess I'll have to wait a couple of days to be able to really analyse the situation.

My new page design (with CSS) makes it much easier and faster for me to tweak an existing page or create a new. And that is very important if you want to play "the fresh game" at a serious level.
