Claimed CGI redirect to cast PR vote?

Ok, to be google frienly, we prefer our link to be place exactly as it is. But some fellas esp those that managed directories like to use CGI redirect, something like goto.cgi?somewhere.com or even worst goto.cgi?id=56 ...

I read here and some says it will pass out the PR and shown as one of the inbound links in google. I never seen this happened to my site nor others site that I check.

So can someone mention a site to me where I can check her backlink in google to have a look at some CGI backlinks?

Go to the site in my profile, scroll down to the blue advertising banner, hover and see the cgi redirect, click to go to that site, check that sites backlinks, boom, over 100 from me... none of the other similar cgi links I have on the exact same pages show as backlinks to any of the other sites... which is just spooky. The one that does show though has the simplest target URL, and I wish I knew if that was the secret.

in the script, you generate a meta refresh tag or do you send a redirect header?

The redirected links in these forums count as inbound links. I.e. www.webmasterworld.com/forum48/189.htm is an inbound link for one of my sites. In this case, the server appears to send back a 302.

It is confirm now 302 will be able to pass PR.
