I have been seeing the same old cached for like 3-4 days already(and my sites are gettting hammered by ggoglebot2.1) so, whats up? Is this new or is it normal for google to not update there cacheds? Maybe my IE is broke. If it is normal, when will the cached update?

Cache is not always updated, but once a month during the big update. Even then, lower pr pages can some times last through an update unchanges. The daily spidering stuff is fresh bot, and there is no garantee that fresh bot will in turn update the cache - very often not. Throw in a noarchive tag and don't worry about it.
